HEAD Architecture, created by Mark Panckhurst and Mike Atkin. A kiwi and a Brit. World is far apart as for both, but still they have shared many in common. Their establishment the HEAD OFFICE is located in a lane where old antique are sold. Up in the sky on the 17th floor with a veranda outside their office where they are the host for Designer’s Saturday Hong Kong, visitors could sip wine on. The marvel of the scene is really about the two of them doing a firm that is grown in size to about 15 or more staff. A real multinational team of architects doing a lot of regional architectural branding and interior works.

In the last year or two, they published a booklet which is sold locally in stores. Their creatures of creativity is really a boarder view tracing a tradition in the Corbusian process. In the video they talked briefly on their inception, although our discussion went far in the the reality of architect and the brand they need to carry. Is still a busy time for these architects and I have to stop asking question and let them get back to work. But still, a grasp of what they are doing, here in Hong Kong havens of creative central.
