2.THOTBLD: what level of achievement could anyone have from coding, when code as an art form? And how do you convert a theoretical concept from codes?

KarstenS: Yeah, I mean that there is a distinctive difference between human language code and programming language code. You can encapsulate a bit of meaning and pieces of functionality in programming code. And if you express them in a way, then you can translate those concept and applied those concept on different type of mata, you know…. So yes on their own they are meaningless, but so is human words, like when you say “I”.

THOTBLD: What about when science does it have any room for creative codings?

KarstenS: Yes, I think so. Think about when the time of renaissance. It was a very knowledgible time. Two hundred years ago, you did not have that straight separation between what art and what is science. You have something far more interwoven, even if when you have crafts, and then once we have industrial revolution things beginning to diverge, certainly when you have the machine doing pure manufacturing, doing the interweaving, like carpet and rugs.

THOTBLD: Can you define the spirit of the moment or the essence in time, which ever we have thought of?

KarstenS: I wouldn’t say is a moment, I would say is a movement. Now people have works, in both work that have scientific background but who are interested in art, like the classical, an artistic interpretation. But like what is artistic? Anything that is not straight science like definition in text book, is automatic, as art. It is all those narrow minded definition we have come up with, that in the few last hundred years. Like this is design, no, this is art. No, this is science, is only all those definitions, like. If you want to be a good artist, why can’t you speak good things about science….Or if you are a graphic designer, why can’t you speak of science…, I don’t know, I am not that good at giving statements.

To be continued….
